Purchased three of these for the owners of the company I work for and two of the smaller grill crates for my project managers. I got phone call after phone call thanking me for such a great gift and then a cussing about having to pry it open. Lol. It was in good fun and they totally enjoyed having to pry it open.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wasn't there to actually see the delivered product. I'm almost positive they would give it 5 based on their reaction.

It was my first time ordering from man crates and was very excited to receive the product. It arrived however I recieved the grill master in place of what I ordered which was the survival crate. Now the grill crate is a good product with great stuff inside but it wasn't what I ordered. Now I called man crates and they allowed me to keep the grill crate and ship the right crate free of charge, awesome customer service. However I again recieved another grill master, not to take away from a great product but it just wasn't what I ordered. So I emailed man crates again and explained the second mistake. Again they came back with amazing customer service. They shipped the correct crate overnight free of charge, and let me keep the two mistaken crates. Now if that wasn't enough they reimbursed me my original fee for all my trouble. A great product matched with great customer service, I couldn't ask for more!

The product itself is fantastic, FIVE STARS for sure, it was exactly as described and GREAT for the man in your life who has everything. We ordered ours ahead of time as a gift, which seemed to be a mistake. Due to the requested delay in the shipping (we didn't need it that day, so we picked a day that would suit our schedule better, approximately 4 days after our order date), the item ended up sitting in the warehouse READY to ship, with a label on it and everything, but never ACTUALLY shipped. I had to call and email to follow up and get it to us (10 days late). The customer service department was nice and helpful, but what would have been the most helpful would have been getting the gift on the day it was promised. The delayed shipping option was more of a 2 or 3 star experience.

My husband really enjoyed the crate idea and thought the grilling products inside were awesome! The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was because there were nails protruding out of the bottom of the crate and they scratched our table when he was opening it. Nothing major since it is an old table, but if we had a newer table it would have been much worse. Other than that it was a fun gift and very unique. He loved that part of it.

The 'box' arrived on time as requested. My husband is difficult to gift for since he usually buys it himself. But he enjoyed the challenge of opening the crate with the crowbar provided. He is looking forward to using the unique products in his crate when the weather is more cooperative. Thank you for a fun, special gift.

I had no struggle whatsoever opening this box as the nails for the lid had all broken through and weren't securing the lid. I wish I had followed the instructions and documented it, but I didn't. The products inside the box are all great and of high quality, but I must say I was disappointed to not need the pry bar at all.

Just received this...after paying for a two day delivery it came a day late and was missing the crow bar! How am I supposed to open this? Thais cool novelty thing was that it “comes with a Laser Etched Crow Bar”!

husband last year for Christmas. I’m back because he enjoyed the crate and how y’all duck taped the crate, he really
enjoyed that. But the smoker box and the wood chips didn’t do the job. The chips would light/smoke. Maybe I’m the idiot, believe me I’m not ruling that out. I left the box outside after using it once and it rusted over. We live in CA, not THAT moist outside. The barbecue sauces were okay, we used them overtime. I wouldn’t buy this box again though. The delivery was perfect came in a day, and their customer service is great. With that being said Im making another purchase today it’s definitely worth it.

My sisters and I went in on this for my dad’s 60th Birthday. When he went to pull the crate out of the box the whole bottom fell out of it, so all the fun of getting to open it with the crowbar was gone. He did like everything inside the crate though.

It was kinda cool but not worth $100. It was basically $50 worth of items in a box for $100. I’ve always checked these crates out thinking I would get my boyfriend one soon and finally did and I was pretty disappointed. Not as cool as I thought it’d be and it was delivered with mancrate on the outside so that also ruined a surprise.

I called and the other one was sent out,BUT, the first one I received was wrapped in duct tape which was awesome. The second one I received was not packed like the first one wrapped in duct tape. That is what I think was part of the package! Super disappointed 😢😢😢. I was bragging about man crates, but must likely will not order from them again.

I go this for my husband for father's day and I love the idea of the crate and being able to pry it open with a crow bar but, as soon as he took it out of the box and before he could set the crate on the counter, the bottom fell off and everything, including the wood chips, went everywhere. Luckily nothing broke and he couldn't even tell me he liked it. So, I guessing he didn't. It's a shame!

I ordered this crate as a birthday gift for my dad. The crate was poorly glued together, when we removed it from the box it was shipped in, a few pieces fell off. The top was barely glued on, it took my dad less than 2 minutes to open the crate. I honestly don't think it was worth $99. The items in the box without a doubt don't add up to $99, which would have been fine had I at least gotten to watch my dad struggle to open the crate. The idea behind the product is great but the execution of it was not.

Got this for my husband for Father's Day. Really liked the concept, but the whole reason I got the crate was the smoker and it failed miserably. Followed the directions exactly and it didn't work at all, which was a huge bummer. Not sure if we'll get any use of the meat tenderizer and found that the electronic instant read thermometers work better. I guess sauces and spice are fine but a disappointment given it's not cheap.

Sad. Crate fell apart. The fun duct tape add on should have been Great! But was a Dud. Not cool guys, way to make Father’s Day lame. . .

I got this crate for my dad for his birthday, but when he went to pull the wooden crate out of the shipping box it came in, the bottom fell off! He didn't even get to pry it open at all, and all of the contents spilled out (luckily nothing broke though). I looked up each of the items in the crate (by their exact brand), and they come out to just under $60, so you're essentially paying $40 for the novelty of the crate packaging and getting to pry it open. Now, I'm fine with that, since it makes such a neat gift idea, but I ended up paying the extra $40 for nothing due to the poorly constructed crate. Very disappointed.

My wife got me this, I had to pretend to like it but honestly it’s a waste of money. I can get all that stuff that is inside for 40 bucks. 116 is not worth it. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered this crate 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to be delivered today. It wasn't! It was supposed to a birthday gift for my husband. I read a few other reviews that customers didn't receive their crate on time, but I remained positive and was hopeful it would't happen to me.

This isn't worth the money, unless opening a glued plywood box is worth $50 to you. I won't be recommending Man Crates to anyone. The contents of this crate could be compiled by themselves for half the price.
